Richmond Hill, Ontario – Today, silverblaze, a subsidiary of Harris Utilities, has announced that its consumer self-service platform has been bolstered by a broader set of energy efficiency, decarbonization, and water conservation functionality.

Powered by the Microsoft Azure SaaS cloud, silverblaze is a secure, white-labeled consumer self-service portal that has been enabling utility customers to connect with their utility providers and pay their bills for more than twenty years.

Harris’ 2021 acquisition of Aclara’s Adaptive Consumer Engagement (ACE) gave silverblaze developers access to ACE functionality which is now part of the silverblaze solution. New functionality includes the ability to leverage Azure’s AI/M engine to give customers personalized insights and recommendations into their energy and water usage. It enables utility companies to offer them energy and water-saving products, programs, and services.

“Today, our mission is to enable energy and water consumers to make informed decisions to support a sustainable future while helping utility providers drive innovation to reduce costs, increase on-time bill pay, and improve the overall health of the utility and the planet,” Brian Thomas, EVP, silverblaze.

Our Solution
A solution that grows with your utility, silverblaze functionality is offered through three packages; Essentials, Premier, and Enterprise along with several optional solution enhancements to meet the unique needs of each utility.
